Michael Kirby

Michael Kirby, age 57, passed away on November 25, 2024. Born on September 21, 1967, in Cleveland, Ohio, he was the beloved son of the late James and Wanda Kirby.

Michael was the devoted husband of Cathy Underwood and a loving father to Dayna Kirby (deceased), and stepfather to Kyle Grimes, Ryan Grimes (Lacy), and Kayla Grimes. He was a cherished grandfather to Ayden Grimes, Allee Grimes, Alyssa Grimes, Starr Grimes, Skylar Grimes, Shawn Mytnick, Reese Sulak, and a proud great-grandfather to Delilah Grimes.

He was the dear brother of Jim Kirby, Juanita Childress, Connie Daniels, and Paula Rednour, and a treasured uncle to many nieces and nephews. Michael was a pillar of support and understanding for his family, often lending a listening ear and heartfelt advice, especially to his nieces.

An avid guitarist, Michael found joy in music and in helping his grandchildren with projects, fostering their creativity and skills. His warmth, kindness, and steady presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
