Michael Dennis Valan, III,​ age 68 of Pottsboro, Texas passed away on 1/11/18; ​Michael was a teacher for disadvantaged youth and served in the United States Marine Corps. Michael was the​ beloved husband of Mary Kay (Bakaitis); loving father of Michael (Kathy), Michele Gillotti (Ben), and Melissa Wood (Mike); devoted grandfather of​ Jennifer, Michael, Kaitlyn, and Tyler​; great-grandfather of 2, and uncle of many; dear son of the late Michael and Barbara; dear grandson of the late Michael and Eva.
