It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Nathan William Rodriguez, age 23, on May 14, 2024. Nathan was born on November 25, 2000, in Cleveland, Ohio, to his loving parents, Michael and Jada Rodriguez.
Nathan was the dear brother of Michael Rodriguez II and a cherished grandson to Aida Rodriguez and her late husband, Hector Rodriguez Sr., as well as Ed and Linda Purdy. He will be deeply missed by his extended family and numerous friends who were touched by his humor, kindness, and zest for life.
Nathan graduated from Wickliffe High School in 2019. After completing his certification through Roehl Transport, he pursued a career with Western Express, Inc., where he was a valued employee.
Known to many as "Hot Rod," Nathan played football his entire life, from pee-wee leagues all the way through his senior year of high school. He excelled on the field, earning the nickname from his coaches and teammates, who admired his skill, determination, and spirited personality.Nathan had a remarkable sense of humor and a passion for stand-up comedy, often crafting his own jokes that brought joy to many. He also an avid music enthusiast, creating his own rap beats that showcased his creativity and love for the art.
Nathan's memory will forever live in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. His spirit, laughter, and the music he created will continue to resonate in our lives.
Family and friends are welcome on Thursday, May 23, 2024, from 11 a.m. until time of service at 1 p.m., at Bican Bros. Funeral Home 5215 Fleet Ave. Cleveland, OH 44105. Interment Calvary Cemetery.
