Pablo Diaz

Pablo Diaz, age 94; born on January 25, 1930 in Vega Baja, Puerto Rico, to the late Felix Diaz and Rosa Maria Martinez, passed away Thursday, January 16, 2025 while visiting with family in Santo Domingo. Beloved husband of the late Carmen Diaz; loving father of Ricky Diaz (Sonia), Kevin Diaz (Barb), Rosa Diaz (Harold), Magdalena Diaz (Kim) and bonus daughter Evelyn Rodriguez (Luis); cherished grandfather of Laporscha, Olivia, Frankie, Pablito (Julia) and Rosa (Josh), and great-grandfather to Kaylani and Ileana; Pa was a beloved brother survived by Francisco, Julian and Crucita and a treasured uncle. 

Pa was a man who always gave his very best to everything he did. He leaves behind a legacy of hard work, unwavering love for his family, and a spirit that never faltered in the face of challenges. Pa was a god-fearing man who was dedicated to his faith and was a source of inspiration to everyone who knew him. We will miss all that you are, all that you were and most of all, we will miss the effect you had on our lives. The heart of a father is the masterpiece of nature. Say not in grief ‘he is no more’ but in thankfulness that he was.

His master replied, “Well Done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Enter the joy of your master’s happiness” –Matthew 25:23

Family and friends are welcome on Saturday, February 8, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Slone & Co. Life Celebration Center 3556 W. 130th St. Cleveland, OH 44111, where a funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Interment Riverside Cemetery. A luncheon will follow, and all are welcome to join in sharing a meal and memories of Pa.
