Phyllis J. Cheney passed away on April 7, 2024, in Cleveland, Ohio. She was 83 years old.
She was born on September 23, 1940, in Charleston, West Virginia, to her parents, the late Harry and Flora (nee Evans) Simmons.
Phyllis was the beloved wife of the late Everette, and together their marriage produced two wonderful sons, Tim and Tedd. She was also the loving grandmother of five grandchildren: Caitlin Feliciano, Megan Houance, Josh and Austin Cheney and Christopher Scarborough and the great-grandmother of four: Braylon, Easton, Lexi and Brook. Phyllis was the dear sister of Sue Nixon and the late Connie Prince and is a loving aunt of many.
Family and friends are welcomed WEDNESDAY, APRIL 10TH, 2024, FROM 5-7 PM AT SLONE & CO. FUNERAL DIRECTORS, 13115 LORAIN AVENUE, CLEVELAND, OHIO 44111. Graveside Services and Interment will follow on Thursday, April 11th, 2024, at 11 AM at Holy Cross Cemetery, 14609 Brookpark Road, Brook Park, Ohio 44142.
