Rabon "Jerry" Holstein

RABON "JERRY" HOLSTEIN, age 72, passed away on Oct. 2, 2009. Jerry was married to the late Rita "Snookie" (nee Stewart) for over 43 years. He was the beloved father of Veronica (Philip) Gwiazdow-ski and adored grandfather of Cory, Casandra and Courtney Gwiazdowski; brother to Douglas and the late Stella in Ohio, Eddie, Norlene and Micky in West Virginia, and the late Milton in Maryland. Jerry was born in Emmons, WV on Sept. 2, 1937, lived in the Cleveland area for over 44 years and will return home to rest. Mr. Holstein was a U.S. Navy Veteran. Family will receive friends SUNDAY, OCT. 4, 2009 AT THE BICAN BROS. FUNERAL HOME, 5215 FLEET AVE. FROM 2-6 P.M. VISITATION WILL ALSO BE HELD ON TUESDAY, OCT. 6, 2009 AT CURRY FUNERAL HOME IN ALUM CREEK, WV FROM 4-8 P.M. where funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2009 at 11 a.m. Jerry will be laid to rest at Holstein Cemetery. He is loved dearly and will be missed by many. Rita Holstein passed away on June 9, 2009. Her cremains will also be present at both visitations and will be laid to rest in West Virginia with Jerry on Oct. 7, 2009. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations ma be made, in Jerry's memory, to the Hospice of the Western Reserve.
