Beloved son of Richard and the late Charlotte; dearest former husband of Patricia; loving brother of Gloria (Carl) Stearns, Debra (Nicholas) Kliensmith and Steven (Carol) Abelt; loving father of Pamela, Richard and Gerald Abelt; grandfather of Crystal Marie; dearest friend of William Peterson and Phil Drew; uncle and great uncle of many. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 7, 2009, at 4:00 p.m. at the BICAN BROS. FUNERAL HOME, 5215 FLEET AVE., where family will receive friends FROM 2-4 P.M.
