Raymond J Obojski

Raymond J. Obojski, age 83, passed away peacefully on December 23, 2020. 
Life partner of MaryAnn Szymczak, dearest father of David (Brooke), Keith and Denise Miller (Damian).  Dearest friend to their children’s mother Judith (nee Roganish).  Loving grandpa to Kierra and Christen.  Beloved brother of Catherine Wolanski and the following deceased: Thadeus, Thomas, Teresa Nowak and Alice.  Uncle and great uncle to many.  Ray was a proud Korean War Veteran who served his country as a sharpshooter in the U.S. Army.  He was a longtime parishioner of St. John Nepomucene Church.  Prior to his knees giving out, he loved polka dancing, golfing and church festivals.  Most of all, he loved spending time with his family.  Family and friends are welcome on Tuesday, December 29, 2020 from 4:00-7:00pm at Bican Bros. Funeral Home 5215 Fleet Ave., Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at 9:30am at St. John Nepomucene Church (E.50^th and Fleet Ave.) PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH.  Interment St. Mary’s Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations may be made in Raymond’s memory to Disabled American Veterans 1035 E.9^th St., Cleveland, Ohio 44114.  A celebration of life will take place at a later date.
