Rev. Angel Luis Villamil

Rev. Angel Luis Villamil, age 88, passed away on January 18, 2025. Born in Humacao, Puerto Rico, to the late Manuel and Atanasia Villamil, he lived a life devoted to faith, family, and service.

Beloved husband of 53 years to Isabel Lazu Villamil, Rev. Villamil was the devoted father of Emmanuel Villamil (Bonnie), Elizabeth Villamil-Canario (Gabriel A.), Angel Villamil, and the late Jose and Raymond Villamil. He was a cherished grandfather of 15 and great-grandfather of 23. He is also survived by his dear sisters, Carmen L. and Rosa L. Villamil, and was preceded in death by siblings Olga N., Nilda M., Luz T., Lydia E., Ana L., Adalberto, and Luis M. Villamil. He was a treasured uncle to many nieces and nephews.

Rev. Angel served as a pastor and missionary, sharing his passion for preaching, teaching, and singing alongside his beloved wife. Known for his generous heart and unwavering faith, he was always ready to lend a helping hand. He also found joy in baseball, boxing, and traveling. His legacy of love, service, and dedication to God will be remembered and cherished by all who knew him.

Family and friends are welcome on Friday, January 24, 2025, from 5 to 9 p.m., at Iglesia Oasis De Bendicion 11405 Bellaire Rd, Cleveland, OH 44111, where a funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Interment Riverside Cemetery. 

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the family to help with funeral expenses.
