Beloved husband of Ludmila (nee Matasova) (deceased). Beloved son of Bertha M. and Samuel T. Proe (both deceased). Loving father of Diana Nix (James Sr., deceased), Margaret (Margie Dargie) Prokay (Richard), Sharon (Boodles) Bartow, Tony Proe and Bobby Proe (Nadine). Grandfather of 25. Great-Grandfather of 27. Great-great Grandfather of 17. Mr. Proe was very proud to have served his country in World War II as Private First Class. Inducted on July 30, 1942 and honorably discharged November 9, 1945. Mr. Proe leaves behind a platoon of friends and loved ones who were fortunate to have met such a beautiful human being. We salute you one last time! Mr. Proe was a supporter of the Disabled American Veterans. Funeral Service Saturday April 24, 2010 at 11:00 am at the BOLLINGER-BICAN FUNERAL HOME 9810 Denison Ave. Interment West Park Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 5-9 PM.
