Andrews, age 93, of Cleveland OH, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on September 4, 2020. Bob was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on April 9, 1927. He left school at the age of 16 to enlist in the United States Navy during World War II and finished high school after proudly serving his country. He later moved to Cleveland Ohio, where he met the love of his life Minnie. He was very involved in his community, serving many years as an auxiliary policeman and volunteering as an election poll worker. Bob was an active Mason for over 65 years and served as Worshipful Master for the Franklin/Cleveland Masonic Lodge. Bob enjoyed woodworking and spending time with his family. Bob is survived by his beloved wife of 64 years, Minnie (nee Stallard). Devoted father of Robert Andrews (Sherrie) & twins Karen Poliak (Rudy) and Sharon Soltes (Christopher). Adoring grandfather of Jennifer Petitto (Ross), Sandra Andrews (Scott). Stacy Rodeheaver (Eric), Matthew Poliak (Mackenzie), Robert Timmons, Gregory Soltes and Emily Soltes. He was a cherished great-grandfather, great-great-grandfather, and uncle to many. Bob was preceded in death by his loving parents, Robert and Theresa Andrews, and brothers Harvey and James. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday, September 10, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment Brooklyn Hts. Cemetery.
