Robert A. Salo

Robert A. Salo, age 77, passed away on March 19, 2025. He was born on July 2, 1947, in Cleveland, Ohio, to his loving parents, the late Eino and Mary (nee Pekarik) Salo. Dear brother of Richard D. Salo (deceased), Ronald Salo (Leslie), and Russell Salo (deceased) (Bonnie). Treasured uncle of Ryan (Casey), Jason (Jessica), Marcie (Lee) Foster, Kristin (Matt) Horvath, Justin (Casey), Erin, Caitlin, and many great-nieces and nephews.

Robert played football and wrestled at Lakewood High School, where he graduated in 1965. He was a proud United States Air Force veteran who served from 1966 to 1970. After his service, he attended Cleveland State University, majoring in special education. Robert had a deep love for his family and especially enjoyed the music of the '50s and '60s. He will be fondly remembered by his family and friends.

Family and friends are welcome on Friday, March 28, 2025, from 9 a.m. until time of Mass at 10 a.m., at St. Clement Church 2022 Lincoln Ave, Lakewood, OH 44107. Interment West Park Cemetery.
