Roberto Alicea Benitez

Roberto Alicea Benitez, age 77, passed away on September 13, 2023. He was born in Barranquitas, Puerto Rico, on October 31, 1945, to the late Edelmiro Alicea and Juana Benitez.

Roberto was a devoted husband to Rosaura Alicea-Rojas and a loving father to Maria Isabel Alicea, Migdalia Alicea, Maria Elena Alicea, and Sandra Alicea. He was a proud grandfather and great-grandfather to many, cherishing the moments spent with his growing family.

Roberto was not only a beloved family man but also a cherished brother, uncle, and great-uncle who shared his warmth and kindness with all those around him. He had a knack for fixing things, earning him a reputation as the family's handyman, always ready to lend a helping hand.

In his free time, Roberto found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He loved riding his bike, embracing the freedom of the open road and always taking his dog, Poppy, along with him for the ride.

Roberto Alicea Benitez will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. His memory will live on in the hearts of those he touched with his love, kindness, and warmth.

Family and friends are welcome on Tuesday, September 19, 2023, from 5 to 7 p.m., at Slone & Co. Funeral Directors 13115 Lorain Ave. Cleveland, OH 44111, where Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, September 20, 2023, at 11 a.m. Interment West Park Cemetery.
