Roberto Cruz, Sr. "Boliche"

Roberto Cruz Sr. “Boliche”, 72, of Cleveland passed away on October 22, 2020.  He passed away from complications due to a chronic infection in his body.

Boliche was born in Barranquitas, PR in 1948. At the age of 19 he moved to New York in 1967. After a year in New York he moved to Ohio where he met his wife Maria. They were married in 1971. In 1972 they became parents to a girl, Rosa. Four years later, in 1976, they had their second born, a boy, Roberto Jr. and in 1983, they had their last child, a girl, Lissette (Pebbles).

Boliche was well known and loved by many. He enjoyed playing dominoes and hanging with his friends. But what he enjoyed the most was his grandchildren and being called Do-Do by all of them. He will be truly missed but never forgotten.

He is survived by his loving wife Maria, his 3 children Rosa, Roberto Jr., Lissette (Pebbles) , 9 grandchildren Davanta (Macho), Nakayla (Kay Kay), Geovanni (Cucubano), Aiyanah (Cuatro), Keristin (Lluvie), Kyondalyss (Pukka), Ethan (Eth-an-Park), Annalyss (Nana), Aiden (Tippy Toes), and a grand dog Caesar.

Family and friends are welcome on Tuesday, October 27, 2020 from 5:00-7:00pm at the Bican Bros. Funeral Home 5215 Fleet Ave., Cleveland, Ohio 44105

Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, October 28, 2020 at 11:00am at Our Lady of Lourdes Church.  PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH.  Final viewing prior to mass will start at 10:30am at the church.

Interment Calvary Cemetery.
