Ruth McNamara

Ruth McNamara, age 84, passed away on November 20, 2022. Beloved wife of the late Anthony McNamara. Devoted mother of Brian (Jeanne), Tom (Lynne), and Patti (Gregg). Cherished grandmother of Megan, Anthony, Jake, Michael, Kasey, and Shane. Dear sister of the late Joan Westerhold. Loving sister-in-law and adored aunt. Treasured friend to many. Ruth married the love of her life in 1960 and was happily married for 57 years until Tony was called home. She lived her life as a devout Catholic, caring for her family, and brightening the day of all she met with her infectious smile. Ruth loved all of the Cleveland sports teams, but her Ohio State Buckeyes were second to none. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, November 26, 2022, at 10 a.m. at St. Angela Merici Church 20970 Lorain Rd. Cleveland, OH 44126. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery (Avon, Ohio).
