Sarah L Higgins

Sarah L. Higgins, age 70, was born in Hayti, Missouri on January 24, 1952, to her loving parents the late Angius James and Beatrice Benford. Sarah attended Missouri Middle and High School. She moved to Cleveland, Ohio at the age of 18. Sarah had three devoted children, Petula Higgins (Tee), Pam Taylor, and Joe Higgins II (Snook). Sarah enjoyed being with her family, playing the lottery, cooking, dancing, talking her smack, and joking around. She loved to turn a sad day into a happy day. Everyone called her Moa-Moa. Sarah was the youngest of 7 siblings; Judy, and Robert Lee, and was preceded in death by her mom and dad; her 2 brothers Samuel, Tony, and her 3 sisters Loreen, Barbara, and Myrtle Bee. Moa-Moa had 7 grandchildren Larry Jr., Lee, Joel Lamar, Shaquille, Areion, Jon, and Soladeen. She had 16 great-grandchildren Kahleel, Andre, Prenice, Nyonna, D’ejon, Darious, Alijah, Javion, D'Sani, Kaiden, Amir, Ja’Riyah, Ja’Cyon, Karter, K’amari, and Kamouri. Moa-Moa had a host of family and friends that will miss her dearly. Family and friends are welcome on Saturday, June 11, 2022, from  2 p.m. until Homegoing Services at 3 p.m. Slone & Co.
