Lost his battle to cancer Sunday November 28, 2010. Beloved father of Lacy Pierce. #1 son of Patricia and Benny Waters and the late Stephen Pierce. Dearest brother of Kimmy Pierce. Cherished uncle of Cortney Taylor and Zachary Gates. Beloved nephew, good friend and golfing partner to many. A special thanks to his Uncle Bill Truax for helping Scott during his final fight. We are forever grateful. Also a special thank you to the Southwest General Hospice Team especially Rhonda from Hospice. Scott proudly served his country in the United States Navy for four years. He was an employee of Alcoa, accomplished millwright and proud member of the American Legion Post 627. Interment Thursday December 2, 2010 at 10:30am at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Rittman, Ohio. PLEASE MEET AT CEMETERY OFFICE AT 10:15AM. A celebration of Scott’s life will be held on Thursday December 2, 2010 at 4:00pm at the American Legion Post 627 3935 E.42nd St., Newburgh Hts., Ohio 44105. We hope all friends and family will join us in remembering a really special man.
