Selvin Roscoe Cunningham

Selvin Roscoe Cunningham was born in Cleveland, Ohio on May 28, 1959 to the union of Willie James and Florence Christian-Cunningham. He was the fourth of eight children. Preceding him on his journey home were his parents Wil-lie James and Florence, his sister Abby, brothers James and Denmark Cunningham. Selvin attended Cleveland Public Schools, after completing high school he attended a few years of college. After school he began working at El Rico Machine and Tool. He then took on a job working for Miller’s Moving Company, and a hardware store. Selvin did quite a few jobs in his lifetime. Selvin was united to Mattie Lou Monroe in his twenties; two children , Selvin Roscoe Jr. and Jessica Monique Cunning-ham were born from this union. Selvin also had three more children Abby Gertrude Chisholm-Osborne, Sanetta Sharee Chisholm and Samuel Eric Vacha. Selvin loved spending time with his family and friends. He loved joking and putting a smile on his love ones faces. He was quite a legal wiz, often being called on for legal advice.Selvin loved the Oldies but Goodies, and could be surprisingly generous. He was loved by all.
On October 1, 2020 Selvin departed this life. Left to cherish his memories are his wife Mattie Cunningham, his chil-dren Abby Chisholm-Osborne (Alvin), Sanetta Chisholm, Samuel Vacha, Jessica Cunningham, Selvin Roscoe Jr. Cunningham, stepchildren Tanya Monroe-Miles (Frank) and Angel Monroe, grandchildren Selvin Roscoe Cunningham III, Sarah Vacha, Saijia Vacha, Salian Cunningham, Madalyn Cunningham, Mattie Z. Cunningham, Ciera Ellis, Tiera Ellis, Kiera Ellis, Angelique McGuire, and a host of friends and family…
