Stefan O. Zeidner

Stefan O. Zeidner, age 69, of Cleveland, Ohio, passed away on April 12, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love and adventure. Born on June 1, 1954, in East Orange, New Jersey, to his adoring parents, the late Otmar H. Zeidner and Ilsa Reiser, Stefan's life was marked by his unwavering passion for exploration and his deep connections with family. Stefan is survived by his stepmother, Haide Bayer

He is survived by his beloved wife, Jill Evans-Zeidner, whom he cherished. Stefan was the devoted father of Elizabeth (Jim) Wangler, Lisa (Dan) Regan, and Alexis Zeidner. He also embraced his role as a stepfather to Ashley Evans and lovingly remembered the late Dane Evans. His heart overflowed with joy at the mention of his grandchildren, Maeve, Eila, Jack, Jake, Lila, and step-grandchildren, Allie, Daniel, Mauricio, and Dane.

Stefan's siblings, Christian (Marcia) Zeidner, and Tina (Manuel) Zeidner Moreno, were not only his kin but his lifelong companions through both triumphs and trials. Though he mourned the loss of his siblings, Cornelia Zeidner-Harmon, Peter Zeidner, and Alex Zeidner, their memories remained etched in his heart. In addition to his siblings, Nancy (Bill) Little, who entered the family's life a few years ago, became another cherished member of the family.

Throughout his life, Stefan embraced adventure with an insatiable spirit. Whether soaring through the skies, cruising on motorcycles, trekking through nature's wonders, or pedaling along scenic paths, he found great solace and joy in the outdoors. 

Family and friends are welcome on Friday, April 19, 2024, from 1 to 3 p.m., at Slone & Co. Funeral Directors 13115 Lorain Ave. Cleveland, OH 44111. 

In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to be made to Goldenrod Montessori (Cleveland, Ohio).
