Thomas Carey

Thomas Carey, age 90, passed away peacefully at home on April 4, 2021.  Tom is retired from the International Union of Elevator Constructors Local Union 17.   Thomas is preceded in death by his loving wife of 56 years, Rosemarie, his brothers George and Lewis Carey, sister Alta Lavelle, stepson Thomas (Joyce) York, and granddaughter Sheryl Thompson.  Thomas is survived by his cherished grandchildren Fred Thompson, Tommy York, Kevin York (Vicki), Timmy York (Rosa), Debbie Bryson, Patti Michalski (John), and Cindy Soos.  He was a spoiler of his great-grandchildren, Jennifer English (Tijuan), Timmy and Tricia Thompson, Scott York, Kayla Alderks (Alex), Patrick and Tara York, Megan Soos, Mitchell and Erica Bryson, Reagan and Hadyn Michalski, and his six great-great grandchildren.  Caring uncle and friend to many.  Thomas will be missed dearly.  Family and friends are welcome Wednesday, April 7, 2021, from 5-8 p.m., at Slone and Co.
