Trina J Harris

Trina Javonne Harris was born in Newark, N.J. on July 1, 1965 to Shelden Owen Harris and the late Ernest Harris.

 Trina’s formative education was in the city of Newark N.J. public school system. Trina attended Orange High School in Orange, N.J. where she excelled academically all four years of being on the High Honor Roll, where she was acknowledged in the Orange Record, the paper for the city of Orange, N.J. all four years. 

Trina migrated in her later years to Cleveland, OH where she was employed by the Radisson Hotel for numerous years until her first encounter with Cancer. Trina was then employed by J.T. Janitorial until her second encounter with Cancer. Afterward she was employed by University Hospital until her third bout with Cancer, which finally overcame her. Trina was always a diligent worker, loved by all her coworkers and employers, she was never one to take her duties lightly. An Avid sports fan, Trina loved the Pittsburgh Steelers. 

Trina found the Lord at Elmwood Presbyterian Church in Orange, N.J. under the leadership of George White. Trina later joined Mount Pleasant Church in Cleveland, where she served the lord until her death.

Trina leaves to mourn her demise her mother Shilden Owens Harris, two brothers James Walter Owens and Shawn Delnard Harris, her four sons: Sean Anthony Harris, Darnell Lamont Harris, Terrence Mayo Rudd and Terrion James Rudd. Cherished granddaughters Skylar Harris and Chloe Rudd. A special cousin/mother Katie Telfer, a god-daughter Shanika Stewart, god-brother Tony Elmore. A host of friends and relatives who will miss her warm smile and generous soul, and many she referred to as her nieces and nephews, brother and sisters. Family and friends are welcome on Wednesday, June 16, 2021 from 11:00am until time of service at 12:00 noon at Slone & Co Funeral Directors 13115 Lorain Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio 44111.
