Trina Morgan will be remembered for her enthusiastic approach to life, her traveler’s spirit, and her ability to not be corrected- whether the facts agreed with her or not. These are the same qualities that made Trina least likely to blend into the crowd, allowing her to leave an impression on all that met her through life. You would forever have a friend in Trina.
Trina was born in Cleveland, Ohio on June 12, 1968 to Arthur Lee and Barbara Jean Morgan. She was the eldest of 5 children. Trina was a 1986 graduate of Erieview Catholic High School, where she played sports all four years. From there, she headed to Lake Erie College on a volleyball scholarship, as well as a period at Cleveland State.
Her parents instilled in her a strong sense of individualism, teaching her that no person had the right to tell Trina Morgan what she could not do or be. During her collegiate years, Trina spent time in Spain teaching English. She made use of her uncanny memory and multilingual skills to make fast friends with individuals covering a wide array of backgrounds and affiliations. In fact, it was the same affable and quick-witted nature that served Trina well in her profession as a bartender over the years. She also served on the Lakeview Terrance Tenant Community Board.
No matter if life for her was in its highs or lows, Trina was known to always have something to say in order to “make you laugh” and always kept her home open to family and friends in need. She was an avid sports fan, she always had a line of conversation ready, especially anything involving local sport teams. Trina reserved a nickname for each of her siblings, children, nieces, and nephews; you all know who you are and what your special name is.
Trina Morgan returned home to be with the Lord on April 11, 2021. Reuniting with her parents and beloved brother, Aturo Lee Morgan. She is survived by her seven children: Alejandro Brown, Nicholas Morgan, Juaqina Morgan, Christian Overton, Tsunami Morgan, Phillip Hope, and Barbarita Hope. She also has 11 grandchildren that she was proud to talk about and, of course, enthusiastically nickname. She also has 12 nieces and nephews that love her dearly.
