Willa Rae Thomas

Willa Rae (nee Gilcher) Thomas, age 71, passed away on August 4, 2024. Born on July 18, 1953, in Cambridge, Ohio, to the late Floyd and Virginia (Canel) Gilcher, Willa was a devoted mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her beloved daughter, Kelly (nee Brady) Freeman (Thorin); cherished grandson, Jonathan Freeman; sister, Dolores Schick (David); and brother, Michael Myers (Holly). Willa is also survived by two much loved aunts, an adored uncle, and many cousins. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Jessie Brady.

Willa found immense joy in being a grandmother and was an avid fan of Cleveland Guardians Baseball. She loved spending time at the beach and had a lifelong passion for music, especially The Rolling Stones.
