William T. Minor

William Thomas Minor was born in Cleveland August 22nd 1934. He passed away Sunday December 13th 2020.  He was 86 years old though he would argue he was 87.  He was preceded in death by his parents Albert and Alice Minor.  He leaves a sister June (Bob), Daughters Sharon ( Keith) Joles and Jennifer (Mike) Basista and a grandchildren Benjamin , Dan (Kari)  and Michael  and great granddaughter Audrey.

He was an avid Cleveland Sports fan and enjoyed the Browns and Indians games.

As a Marine he fought for our country in the Korean War serving two tours of duty. He earned a Bronze Star and a Purple Heart.  He often shared the story of learning to swim at boot camp by being pushed off the platform and learning on the way down. 

In Lieu of flowers please designate a donation in his name to the Sub Zero Mission which supports our homeless veterans or Rescue Village in Geauga County. We will be having a private family ceremony due to state restrictions.
