William Perez

William Perez, age 62, passed away on October 21, 2024. He was born on September 13, 1962, in Brooklyn, New York, to his loving parents, Margaro and Aurora Perez. William was the devoted husband of Elizabeth Perez and the cherished father of Betsy Perez (Alan Johnson), William Perez Jr. (Amanda Parsons), Yesenia Perez (Carlos Deleon), and Julie Perez Deleon (Israel Deleon). He was a proud grandfather of Isiah Whittenburg, Jazmine Whittenburg, Mylan Mitchell, Julian Perez, Ava Perez, Leo Perez, Carlos Deleon Jr., Jayden Deleon, Iralisse Deleon, and a great-grandfather of four. William was a dear brother to Margarita Burgos (Israel Burgos), Ricardo Perez (Yankee Perez), and was preceded in death by his brothers Ismael Perez and Alfredo Perez. He was a treasured uncle and friend to many.

William was a father, uncle, friend, mentor, and personal favorite to many! He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, cruising in his Jeep, and having a good time with friends and family. His jokes and smile could brighten up any room, while his overall presence made everything better.

William was a great man, a guiding light who shared invaluable wisdom and insights that shaped how we understand life. His lessons provided not just knowledge but also inspiration, helping others grow and face challenges with resilience and grace.

William leaves a gracious legacy, and his absence will be deeply missed, making it hard to imagine life without him.

Family and friends are welcome on Friday, October 25, 2024, from 4 to 8 p.m., at Slone & Co. Funeral Directors 13115 Lorain Ave. Cleveland, OH 44111, where a Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, October 26, 2024, at 11 a.m. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
