Zinat Farshadmehr

Zinat Farshadmehr, age 93, passed away on May 12, 2021. A retired school teacher Zinat Farshadmehr’s love of life didn’t come to an end with her death. She was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend. She loved spending time in the kitchen, creating delicious meals for her family and friends.
Zinat was one of the first and few women in her generation to attend college in her native country and became a teacher. She shared her passion for learning with thousands of kids over the years. She loved to spend time with her friends and attend social events. She had an uncanny ability to find happiness in her daily activities.
Zinat passed away surrounded by her loved ones who will continue to honor her legacy by living their lives to the fullest.
Zinat is survived by her one daughter Mehri Shooshtari and seven sons, Dodd, Mehdi, Nick, Masoud, Michael, Ray, and Maz Nejadfard. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A private ceremony for family and friends is scheduled at Slone & Co. Funeral Directors. Interment Resthaven Memory Gardens.
